How to care for your lash extensions
Avoid steamy environments such as very hot showers, saunas and spas etc for 48 hours.
Clean your lashes daily or a minimum every second day. Use a lash cleanser or recommend foaming cleanser to help keep your lashes clean and healthy, and prevent buildup of dead skin cells, dust, natural oils and bacteria.
Gently brush your lashes with the lash wand provided daily.
Book in regular lash infills to keep them looking full and fabulous.
Do not use oil based products around the eyes. Oil/Cream based products over time will affect the adhesive used to bond the eyelash extensions to your natural lashes.
Do not use mascara, crayon/tubing eyeliner or eyelash curlers. If you apply mascara to the bottom lashes, avoid waterproof mascara.
Do not rub, touch or pick your eyelash extensions.
Do not try to remove the eyelash extensions yourself – as it may damage your natural lashes.
What to do if you have an allergic reaction?
- If you have eye allergies or feel sensitivity, purchase an allergy based eye drop from the chemist. This assists in your eyes getting used to the product.
- An allergic reaction is uncommon, however in the rare event that you experience an allergic reaction, which can be easily identified by severe swelling and redness, please contact me as removal of the lash extensions is necessary. It takes 30 minutes with a gentle glue remover to avoid any damage to your natural lashes and is, of course, free of charge.
- Do not attempt to remove the lash extensions yourself, as damage to your natural lashes could occur.
- Try to avoid any contact with your lashes for the first 24 hours.
